Our Story

Climate change is a huge issue, and everyone is looking at how they can reduce their carbon footprint. With this in mind, I started to research how my own family could make changes to reduce our impact. However, this got me thinking, what about the four-legged members of our family? How big were their carbon pawprints?

Turns out, pretty big!

With their meat-based diets, all the packaging from their individually portioned pouches, the destroyed toys destined for landfill, and let us not forget about all the poop! Our furry little friends are taking quite a toll on the planet.

The more I researched, the more it became obvious to me that it would be so much easier for eco-conscious pet parents if all this information was in one place. It would at least give all the green-minded pet owners out there a chance at making a difference.

And just like that, The Green Pet Guide was born.
