It attaches with a simple elastic loop that can easily attach to anything; however, it does swing around a little when you’re on the move. Its construction feels strong and sturdy and will hopefully be long-lasting. And while it is made from plastic, polypropylene is widely recyclable.
Refilling this poop bag holder is a breeze. Simply unscrew the bottom of the dispenser, slide in a new roll of bags onto the spindle, screw the bottom back on and you’re ready to go. The spindle keeps the roll in place, while also allowing it to spin freely. However, one negative is that it doesn’t have a specific attachment for used poop bags.

The Petmolico Dog Poop Bag Holder is probably my favourite fabric poop bag dispenser I’ve used (and I have tried many) and love that it comes in a pack of two (who doesn’t love a spare for the car?).
The dispenser is made from neoprene, a waterproof synthetic rubber commonly used to make wetsuits, which is very hard-wearing and durable. While neoprene can be recycled, it’s worth noting that not every recycling facility can take it.
It can be attached either via the velcro straps on the back or with a metal carabiner. The carabiner clip is sturdy and secure, and the velcro straps did a good job of ensuring that the holder stayed in place while we were on the move. However, it doesn’t have a specific feature to attach used poop bags, which would be handy.
To refill you only need to unzip the pouch and insert a new roll of poop bags. You do need to push the first bag through the dispenser hole, which can be a little bit fiddly. However, the dispenser hole does a good job of keeping the bags from unraveling.
